Digital Application Designer

Description:

Responsible for Overall design, Development of Hardware- including microcontroller/FPGA based Design, Component selection, Schematic design, Board Bring up, Card level testing, Development of application software-including Firmware development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development of Hardware for LRUs, Mixed Signal Boards, Controller Boards, Test Jigs/Rigs, ATE for Airborne, Defense and Ground Applications,
  • Design and Development of Firmware and software architecture at system level for LRUs, Controller Boards, Test Jigs/Rigs, ATE for Airborne, Défense and Ground Applications.
  • Static timing analysis, timing optimization, timing constraints, clock domain crossing, experience in FPGA bring up activities

Manufacturing Operator/ Assembler

Role Description:

Manufacture of EWIS products to quality and delivery objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture to the detailed Job Assembly Plans (JAP), following manufacturing instructions to the dot.
  • Preparation, layup, crimping, soldering, splicing, hermetically sealing (potting), sleeving, printing, connectorization, for simple to complex electrical wiring and panel assemblies
  • Assemble and self-inspect the products as per Built to Print (BTP) assembly data, using the right tools, specifications and process
  • Complete the ERP / MRP transactions in real time as per the job route plans
  • Maintain digital evidence of the products specific to each step of operations (video / pictures)
  • Maintain tools, equipment and measuring instruments in order, ensure usability and calibration expiration (FOD free, 5S environment)
  • Identify, segregate and report non-conformances / discrepancies on parts and products during verification of kits prior to assembly.
  • Actively participate in functional and cross functional discussions related to product and process non-conformances
  • Identify, plan and implement process improvements (Kaizen)
  • Responsible for adhering to  the safety requirements specific to operations and ensure zero safety related incidents. Adhere to environment and organisational safety standards.

Engineer- Production Planning & Control

Role Description:

Plan, schedule, monitor and control actions ahead of time to ensure seamless flow of the manufacturing process, end to end.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Understand program schedule requirements and create production plans with appropriate baselines.
  • Modify / update the production schedules to the latest version of the purchase contract (PC)
  • Manage the Schedule and the manufacturing related collaterals in the ERP / MRP, with up to date, contract revisions.
  • Plan, Schedule, monitor, and control material requirements for production, including plans for manufacturing kits
  • Review shortage of material and work with Supply Chain, part inspection teams to mitigate material shortage risks.
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate impact for and of any material shortages

  • Review the Production Progress on daily basis and manage the data for MIS reporting.
  • Review the resource availability on daily basis, manage impact. Review the impact and reprioritize the manufacturing operations.
  • Review the consumption pattern / Forecast at customer sites and monitor inventory levels and initiate actions for production, ensuring that inventory does not drop below minimum levels at any time.
  • Communicate to Program Manager and leadership for any impact related to staff, tools, material, infrastructure, and work towards solutions.

Role Description:

To train internal and external staff members in the domain of EWIS engineering and manufacturing.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create assessment tools and records and ensure that assessment is fair, practical and acceptable

Role Description:

Execute the Product Engineering activities pertaining to new part builds per APQP processes that include identification of Bill of Material (BOM), Effort Estimation, preparations of Collateral Documents & support New Product Development (NPD) of Wire Harness assembly, Electrical Panels & Racks.
